Better tolerability and treatment compliance

Pritor^®/Kinzal^® demonstrated better tolerability and compliance to treatment than ramipril in the ONTARGET^® trial, which had a patient population shown to tolerate ACE inhibitors. Fewer patients permanently discontinued Pritor^®/Kinzal^® treatment relative to ramipril treatment:¹

In particular, significantly more patients discontinued treatment with ramipril compared with Pritor^®/Kinzal^® because of:¹

Angio-oedema: 25 vs 10 patients, respectively (p=0.01)
Cough: 360 vs 93 patients, respectively (p<0.001)
